Healthy Eating Tips

Whilst healthy eating isn’t all about losing weight, it is important to balance the amount of energy coming into your body (through food and drink) and the amount of energy leaving your body (through daily movement). This is known as the energy balance and will ultimately help you manage and maintain your weight.

  1. Base your meals on higher fibre starchy carbohydrates
  2. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables
  3. Eat more fish
  4. Cut down on saturated fat and sugar
  5. Eat less salt
  6. Get active
  7. Stay hydrated
  8. Don’t skip breakfast
