Touchstone’s community support service: Here For You
We are a free to use service operating from 6pm – midnight 7 nights a week, to offer mental health support to Kirklees residents over the age of 18. We offer:
- A welcoming Social Space from 8pm-midnight 365 days a year. This may be useful if visitors are looking for distraction from their thoughts and feelings and feel up to being around other people. We offer free refreshments, a range of activities and simply be a safe space to sit and be around others to remind visitors that they are not alone.
- 1-to-1 Support in person at one of our safe spaces between 7.30-10.30pm. This is helpful if visitors have something specific on their mind that evening that they want to talk to one of our support workers about. This will be 45 minutes in length and visitors can also join our social space afterwards if they wish to.
Please be aware that our team are all trained Crisis Support Workers, but we cannot provide ongoing counselling, or medical advice.
Referrals can be made daily from 6pm-7pm over the phone: 07741 900395 or via email: wellbeancafekirklees@touchstonesupport.org.uk
Unfortunately, we cannot accept referrals from those struggling with the following:
